Easy Way To Create Images For Your Social Media
Why are images important?
We, humans, are very visual creatures. In fact, 80% of what we learn and remember is due to our vision. Why not take advantage of that statistic? Every great brand has an extremely well-established visual framework. You only need to see a particular font or colour in order to be reminded of the brand and what it represents. If you want to find long-term success within your business – you need to have a library of visual assets. Set fonts, colours and layout styles that define your brand and convey your message.

How to do it.
We will use a tool called Canva. You can use it on your computer or mobile and it’s completely free! You can get advanced options if you pay the premium fee, but if you’re just getting started there’s no need. I will show you how to create a simple image for a giveaway below. Follow along!
1. Create an account
Visit canva.com and sign up for an account. If you are asked to “Invite your team” – you can click “Skip” underneath the form.
2. Choose your design
Now that you’ve signed in – you should see a template called “Social Graphic” on screen. Select this and choose the size you’d like to make the image.
3. Time to design
Now you should find yourself on a blank canvas where you’re able to craft your masterpiece. You can select a layout of your liking from the left sidebar.
Explore the left sidebar and you will find that you’re able to add text, shapes, lines, images, grid and icons to your design. It’s as simple as clicking or dragging the elements onto the canvas.
4. Export your design
Once you’ve finished your design you’ll want to export and download it. In the top right-hand corner, you will find a download button. Click this button followed by the next download button. There’s no need to change the file type.
Now that you’ve downloaded your post image onto your computer you’re able to upload it along with your posts on social media. It’s as easy as that!
